Inka Essenhigh

Today I came across this beautiful painter, Inka Essenhigh. Inka Essenhigh is a painter based in NewYork, her work is other worldly I love her colour palette.


Since I started back at college as a mature student I swear I do more research than I do my own work....it's all about research and development they say! I must say I miss working on my own time schedule and having only to answer to myself. I'm beginning to forget what it feels like to finish a painting, i'm doing so many studies and sketches, but it's early days yet and it's all probably benefiting me. I am looking forward to having my degree I must confess.

Happy New Year!

After such a lovely peaceful and relaxing Christmas it's back to work! Hope to be a lot more productive this year, that's what they all say right, but I really mean it ;) So my first post of the new year are a few little sketches that will hopefully creep into new paintings in some shape or form.
