I watched Beautiful losers again this morning hoping to get inspired to do some work.Every time I see Barry Mcgee's work I just want to paint, I love how he uses the exhibition space to enhance his paintings.

Old Hohner Organ

Myself and Cian were lucky enough to be given a free organ yesterday.Bryan and Cian are already checkin out what it can do....sounds good to me!!!

Life painting

Myself and my sister Lucia went to a life painting class in the Temple Bar Gallery Studios. I found it pretty difficult to get the models features right, I think i changed them about 5 times over. Ive been painting from photos lately and am a bit rusty at the aul life painting but enjoyed it all the same.

I watched this fantastic documentary last night about Chuck Thomas Close. He is an American painter and photographer who achieved fame as a photo realist, through his massive-scale portraits.
